We often hear of the uninitiated talk of the ‘real yoga’ and equate it with how many poses or a specific guru or lineage. The Real Yoga is the yoking of mind to Divine Mind, which was in its most ancient form achieved through the visionary rites of the seers, the Rishis. They used the alchemical elixirs, in the drona, electrum chalice, to consume the holy soma, and later in the Tantras, the amrita. Those who engage in extremes of ascetism, beyond the purifications and skillful means of healing and clearing the channels, are devoid of the true alchemy, the true soma and therefore try to induce it through torture, frenzy, and other lesser methods. Many simply lure the truth as an endless bait of secrets, or they do not possess the Way. Truly the Soma is the Guru of Gurus. It is the goal of our group to present the research of the complex of soma herbs, their functions and the methods of using them to presence the healing secret fire and to generate the presence of the Gods within.
